About Renbiten in Grövelsjön
Renbiten is a Sámi family business located in Grövelsjön, north of Idre. Here you'll find stunning mountain landscapes and roadless wilderness near the border with Norway.
Renbiten is run by Peter and Helena Andersson, one of the four families working together in Idre Sámi village — Sweden’s southernmost Sámi community.

What does Renbiten do?
We combine reindeer herding with our own meat processing, shops in Grövelsjön and Falun, and offer a wide range of Sámi experiences together with you and our tame reindeer.
We specialise in products and services that are directly connected to Sámi culture—both through our self-produced reindeer meat and the various Sámi experiences we provide.

We have been granted rural development support through the European Development Fund for the opening of our shop in Falun.
