Renbiten – Dalecarlia Company of the Year 2017

Every year, the Sparbanksstiftelsen Foundation awards a scholarship to one company and one individual in Dalarna, called the “Dalecarlia Scholarship of the Year”. This year, Renbiten was the winning company – chosen as the one that stood out the most among all the fantastic businesses in Dalarna!

The individual recipient of the scholarship was Jenny Rissveds, Olympic gold medallist!

The motivation for our award reads:

"Renbiten AB combines reindeer herding with its own processing, a shop with café operations, and a specialisation in both services and products rooted in Sámi culture. Through their company, the owners have added a new dimension to the tourism industry, while also creating new jobs in sparsely populated mountain areas."
