Royal Visit to Renbiten and Idre Sámi Village

During their trip to Dalarna, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia have decided to visit us and Idre Sámi village. It is a tremendous honour to receive such distinguished guests – and very nerve-racking!!

Princess Sofia comes from our municipality, and the fact that they chose to experience Sámi culture among all the other wonderful attractions in Älvdalen feels truly significant.

They will visit our shop, hike with our reindeer, and enjoy a variety of Sámi dishes in one of our tipis. Exciting!!!
