Is there anything more peaceful than sleeping in a tipi? It is an adventure where you can brave any weather, stay protected from the cold and insects, and experience the unique warmth and togetherness that the crackling fire has provided since time immemorial.
We have tipis permanently set up on the edge of the mountains near the Norwegian border, but you can also rent a tipi to pitch yourself at a location of your choice.
Inside the tipi, you will find fresh water, firewood, and traditional reindeer skins to sleep on. Fresh, clean water is also available in the adjacent mountain stream.
If you require additional equipment, such as sleeping bags, cooking utensils, etc., these are available for rent.

Just before the parking lot at Valdalsbygget, turn right onto a small gravel track (two tire tracks). Follow this for about 300 meters until you see the tipi on your left side.
